Glossary
Plain-language definitions of the main words used in Mythos.
Short definitions for terms you may see in the product or these guides.
Build
A request that creates a new app or changes an existing one. You describe the result you want and Mythos updates the working preview.
Plan mode
An optional planning conversation before a build. Mythos asks focused questions, prepares an editable plan, and waits for your approval before making the app. See Plan mode.
Project
One app you are creating in Mythos, together with its conversation, preview, files, settings, and version history.
Workspace
The screen for one project. It brings together chat, Preview, Code, Files, and project settings. See Dashboard and workspace.
Preview
The working version of your app inside Mythos. Use it to review a build before you publish.
Version
A saved point in your project's history. You can inspect an earlier version and restore it without removing the versions that came after it. See Versions.
Publish
The action that makes the version in Preview available at a public web address. Changes made later stay in Preview until you publish again. See Publish your app.
Template
A ready-made project you can preview and remix as your own starting point. See Templates.
Supabase
A provider used by Mythos internally for platform authentication and data. The former user-facing BYO Supabase connection is retired; any external project connected through that legacy flow remains in its owner's Supabase account. See Backend connection status.
GitHub
An optional connection for keeping a project synchronized with a repository in your GitHub account. See Connect GitHub.
