Chat attachments
Add visual references or working files to a prompt, within the per-message size and count limits.
Attach files when Mythos needs the original reference, data, or document to complete a request. Open the + menu beside the composer and choose how Mythos should use the item.
Choose the attachment type

Choose by intent. If you want Mythos to study an image's layout, use Upload photo. If you want the original image used as an asset, use Upload file and say where it belongs.
Attach files to a prompt
Open the + menu
Select + beside the chat composer.Choose photo or file
Select Upload photo or Upload file, then choose an item from your device.
Review the attachment chips
Each selected item appears above the composer. Remove anything you do not want to send, and check that the full group stays within the limits below.
Explain the task
Tell Mythos exactly what to learn from each attachment and what result you want. Then send the prompt.
Attachment limits
The limits apply to one message:

| Each non-image file | 10 MiB |
| Combined attachment size | 20 MiB |
An image counts toward both the 15-item total and the 10-image total. If any individual item or the combined group exceeds a limit, remove or reduce files before sending.
When originals join the project
Mythos stages the selected originals for the request. They become part of the project only after that request completes with a successful delivery. If the Build fails or ends before delivery, the originals are not added to the project.
Attached originals are not automatically displayed on the published site. Ask Mythos to use a file in the app and say where it should appear. A visual reference can guide the result without becoming a public asset.
Review attachments before sending. Do not upload passwords, private keys, payment secrets, or personal data that the task does not require.

With a screenshot uploaded as a photo:
Use this as the layout reference for the pricing page, but keep our existing colors and copy.
With a CSV uploaded as a file:
Use this product list as the starting data for the catalog and show name, category, and price.
Good to know
- An attachment belongs to the message you send it with; explain its purpose in that prompt.
- Text in an unsupported encoding may be treated as a binary file instead of readable text.
- Inputs attached in chat do not appear in Files. That view contains outputs Mythos generated for you.
