About this template
FENN is a food blog template for people who love cooking and telling stories about it. A full-width photograph introduces the journal, opening into a spacious grid of articles. Bold typography, generous images and a restrained background keep the food and writing at the centre.
Individual article pages make room for longer stories, with reading time, a progress indicator and related reading. Search helps visitors find an ingredient, dish or topic, while the newsletter form gives them a reason to return.
Best use cases
- Food bloggers: share recipes, ingredient notes and stories from your kitchen in a recognisable publication.
- Recipe writers and cooks: bring your writing and photographs together with space to explain techniques and ideas.
- Food photographers: use the image-led layout to present food stories alongside your photographs.
- Independent food publications: build a journal around restaurants, markets, travel or the people behind what we eat.
Features
A photographic homepage. A large opening image leads into a staggered article grid. The layout adapts from three columns on larger screens to a single column on phones.
Articles made for reading. Home, About and 21 sample articles give you a complete starting structure. Article pages include a publication date, reading time, reading progress, sharing and related stories.
Search across the journal. Full-screen search covers titles, categories, summaries and article text, helping readers find a story without leaving the site.
Newsletter signup. Connect Supabase through Mythos to collect subscribers in your own project. The form checks email addresses and handles duplicate signups. Choose your email service separately to send newsletters.
Responsive photography. Images have smaller versions for narrow screens, with lazy loading below the opening image. Motion respects the visitor's reduced-motion preference.
Search and social previews. Every page has readable HTML, individual metadata and social preview images. Articles include BlogPosting structured data. Configure your public domain and enable indexing to generate canonical URLs and a sitemap.
